Govt to further intensify tourism industry
The remarkable growth of tourism industry in Malaysia in recent times reflected in the year to year of tourist arrival, hence there were some turbulence such as Influenza A (H1N1) and the weak global economic environment. The tourism business still maintained as a potential and profitable industry to explore. Tourist arrivals remained high, averaging two million per month. As at August this year, the tourist arrivals increased 4.4 percent to 15.4 million compared with 14.7 million during the same period last year.
To further intensify the tourism industry, the government has set aside RM899 million in Budget 2010 announce by our Prime Minister.
By focusing on the tourism, bumiputera entrepreneurs shall take this challenges and opportunity not only focus on government project. In keeping this dynamic development, we should identify, develop and offering new products and value-added services to an increase demand for more diversification to boosts the tourism industry.
The success of our tourism industry also lies in our hand. We shall put our hand together in 1Malaysia spirit, cut-off street demonstration, which can jeopardize our economic and nation.
